Jody and I travelled from Sacramento, CA to Bridgeman, MI. We stayed one night in Park City, Utah where they held the 2002 winter Olympics. It was very cold, but very pretty. The next night we stayed in Lincoln, Nebraska home of the Huskers.
Summer Blog by Angela D. Dow. South Bend, IN. During the summer of 2010, I will be assisting on an invasive aquatic plant survey preformed by the University of Notre Dame and the Nature Conservancy. The snorkel survey will occur along the rivers and lakes north of the Ohio River in the Southern regions of Ohio, Indiana, and Illinois.
I love the blog and it will be great to read it.

Nice to see all these things from the ground, I can see them from 7 miles up in my sleep. HaHa
ReplyDeleteThe photos are wonderful. As children, we walked from our campsite, over the hot dunes, and would run down the other side, screaming, straight into the cool lake. AAAAAhhh. Welcome to summer in Lake Michigan.
ReplyDeleteAngela, Jody n I walked the beach and travelled the Lakeshore Road. Beautiful scenic country. They noted all the grapes, vinyards, & blueberry farms & orchards. July is a good month for fruit picking...and visiting wineries!! Fun stuff to come....
